i yen

i yearn for that sterling sunrise
and its unequalled delight
sun gilding the horrizons
radiating eternal light

i pine for that scent
and the solitude
that a pine forest
damp with morning dew exude

i long for that balmy kiss
of the tender sun
basking in a meadow
after hard climb is done

i yen for that soothing dusk
and for its eternal grace
its bliss percolating within me
and radiating through my face

i crave for those long walks
under the starlight skies
traversing gentle wilderness
with countless fire flies

so let me go back
to where i belong
here in this civilisation
i will always find me wrong
